Canuta Machi letter of resignation

To the Board of Directors and all partners and athletes of the Seirines Grevenon team,
After much thought and with great emotion, I would like to inform you of my decision to resign from our team’s Board of Directors.
This decision was not easy, as over the years I have had the honor and pleasure of contributing to the development and progress of the team. From the first moment of my involvement, I tried to give my best, offering my support both at the administrative and communication level. Directness in communication and honesty have always been key values ​​for me in the effort to improve women’s football, not only in Grevena but also more widely.
I want to express my warm thanks to all my colleagues on the Board of Directors, for the valuable cooperation and the mutual trust we have developed. I especially thank our athletes, who with their dedication, passion and perseverance, highlighted the greatness of women’s football and filled us with pride.
Also, I would like to address all the women involved in football, whether as athletes, coaches or administrators. Your contribution is invaluable and a source of inspiration for all of us. Together we managed to bring women’s football to the fore and show it as worthy of respect and attention.
In closing, I want to assure you that, despite my departure from the Board of Directors, I will continue to support our team and stand by you in any way I can.
Thank you for everything we experienced together and I wish the Sirines of Grevena and all the athletes good luck and many successes in the future.
